Icarus and Other Fallen Angels explores our complex, ambiguous and often troubled relationship with the world we inhabit through the application of print processes and video imagery with a reference to the ancient but still resonant myth of Icarus.

By bringing into focus some of the excessive aspects of modern life through an appeal to the Icarus myth, the work intends in a subtle yet unassuming way to contribute to the debate on the state of the environment and the hubris of modern life. The work seeks to unravel these political concerns through an engagement with the poetics of our interaction with the environment.

Icarus, a multi channel video art installation. Work was presented on a 'canvas' of 22 flat screens.
